Crawling Girl is a hostile female spirit in Fatal Frame.

Background[]

A young girl who was friends with Mikoto. She along with a few other children were playing Demon Tag. She decided to hide in the Doll Room, but the ghost Long Arms grabbed her, pulling her into the wall and to her death.

Battle[]

When Miku enters the Doll Room on the First Night and takes a photo of the Child Onlooker to break the seal on the door leading to the Stairway, it will trigger a cutscene and the Crawling Girl will then attack. Like Broken Neck and Tomoe Hirasaka, she can paralyze Miku by screaming.

After her spirit is defeated, her last words are "When will anybody find me?... I've been waiting for so long!".

Trivia[]

Kayako Saeki crawling down the stairs in Ju-on: The Grudge.

  • It is possible that the Crawling Girl was based off of Japanese horror monsters. In traditional Japanese horror films, female ghosts, demons, or spirits tend to crawl toward their victims to deliver a terrifying experience and feeling to both the films' characters and the audience.
