Doll List Sidequest

Fatal Frame IV has an optional quest for the player to take photos of Hozuki Dolls. For the inhabitants of Rogetsu Isle, the dolls were left to represent the death of a child. While these dolls are typically seen as unlucky, the natives of the island believed the opposite and would to hide the small dolls across the island as a custom.

Taking a photo of the doll the image of a girl's face covers the screen, followed by childish laughter, and finally a note saying a curse has been lifted from the doll. The dolls are found throughout the game and with all characters. The original and the remaster offer different rewards:

Original: Ruka's Costume 3 (after finding 20 dolls), Misaki's Costume 3 (after finding 40 dolls), the "Crush" lens (after finding 60 dolls), the "Extend" lens and Character Gallery (after finding all dolls)

Remaster: Ruka's Uniform (after finding 20 dolls); Ruka's White Uniform and Misaki's Uniform (after finding 40 dolls); Swimsuit Costume (Ruka), Swimsuit Costume (Misaki), Swimsuit Costume (Choshiro), and the "Crush" lens (after finding 60 dolls); the "Extend" lens and Glasses Accessories (after finding all dolls)
