Fourth Drop: Spirited Away (神隠シ Kamikakushi) is a chapter of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. The playable character in this chapter is Yuri Kozukata.
Summary[]
Yuri finds the missing Haruka Momose in a reliquary in a cave beneath the Shrine of Dolls.
She takes the girl back to the shop. Haruka is in no state to talk and can't explain what happened to her.
That night, Haruka is visited by Fuyuhi's ghost, which takes her back to the mountain.
Overview[]
Using the Camera Obscura, Yuri takes it upon herself to search for the missing people from Hisoka's reports. Her first target would be Haruka Momose, the best friend of Fuyuhi Himino, who was previously killed by spirits. Yuri's journey would take her back to the Shrine of Dolls where Fuyuhi complained about sensing her friend.
Upon entering, Yuri meets a mysterious white-haired girl who hides the key leading to the Womb Cave underneath the Shrine. After taking the special doll from Shizuma Amaki, Koto Okudera & Yurine Uno, Yuri is attacked by Shiragiku before she can make her way to the Womb Cave. Once she descends, Yuri spots a reliquary box containing a weakened Haruka. Yuri would protect Haruka from the Twisted Guardian before being stopped later by Kirika Reizen, who likely was attempting to beckon Haruka much like Fuyuhi.
Through much effort, the pair later escape back to Kurosawa's Antiques, where Haruka is counseled by Ren Hojo and remain thankful over her luck. While Yuri is taking a much needed break, she notices an anomaly on the security cameras and spots Haruka leaving the store back into the mountains. Upon zooming in, Yuri realizes that Haruka was influenced into doing so by Fuyuhi's spirit.
