The Herbal Medicine, known as Manyougan (万葉丸, "10,000-leaf pills") in Japanese, is a restorative consumable item that can be found and used in the Fatal Frame series . It can be found scattered in various locations of each game, and it is one of the most common items throughout the series.
The amount of health herbal medicine heals is limited, usually about one-third to one-half of the total health bar, and the amount healed decreases as the difficulty setting of the game increases. Herbal medicine can be used anytime through the Menu screen, provided the player's health is not full.

- In Fatal Frame, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and Fatal Frame V: Maiden of Black Water, the Herbal Medicine container is the same. It comes in a container similar to traditional East Asian medicine and herbal remedies. The container is brown with Japanese Kanji hand-painted on its side telling what is within the container.
- In Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, the container still has the same design as its previous titles. However, the body of the container is more tan colored. The container's top still remains its traditional brown color with the Japanese Kanji hand-painted on its side.

- Even though the games' description describes Herbal Medicine as "pills", the container resembles traditional East Asian and Japanese medicine containers that was mostly used to hold herbs.
- Herbal Medicine, along with the different types of film, is one of the most discovered items throughout the series.
