The Kimono Room is one of the rooms of the Manor of Sleep.
This room used to be the room of Kyouka Kuze before the events of the Unleashing. It is connected to the Barred Hallway, the Closet Hallway, the Hanging Prison, as well as the rafters above both the Bell Hallway and Round Window Foyer. The room's contents consist of an old koto, a dresser with a damaged mirror, and several kimonos hanging on frames. Clumps of hair are pinned to the wall above the dresser.
This was the room where Kyouka entertained many Outsiders who were brought to her to provide a female heir for the Kuze Shrine, including Akito Kashiwagi, whom she fell in love with. After Akito disappeared, Kyouka became depressed, spending most of her time playing the koto in her room and arranging her hair for Akito in case he returns.
After the Unleashing, Kyouka was forced to leave the Kimono Room and it was sealed off with the rest of the Manor. After her death, her spirit returned to continue her wait for Akito. She is there at many points in the game, crying or plucking at the koto. In the Echo Stone Earring sidequest, the player can open her dresser and find Kyouka's most valuable possessions.
