Light Key

A small key, engraved with the symbol of light. It was held by a statue on the bookcase.
The symbol for "Light" is carved on the key.

The Light Key (Sunlight Key in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented) is used with the Shadow Key in the Kurosawa House in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.

The player receives the key after successfully completing the Tome Puzzle in the Masters Room. This key is required with the Shadow Key to unlock the door to the cell which held Seijiro Makabe. The Light and Shadow key also make an appearance in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented, when playing as Kei it is used to unlock the cage containing his niece, Mio.

Hints[]

In Fatal Frame III, if picked up first and the shadow key last, the player will be closer to the bars when a vanishing ghost appears.
