Michihiko Ikushima (生島 道彦, Ikushima Michihiko) is a male spirit found in Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse who was in the service of the Haibara Family, serving as Guardian of the Shrine of Mourning in the basement of the Rougetsu Hall.
When Sakuya Haibara escaped from the shrine in 1970, he, along with the other guards, escaped into tunnels below Rougetsu Island in an attempt to escape from it. However, he was caught and killed by Sakuya, like the other guards who tried to escape.
When he is fought, he repeatedly mutters: "It's that person! That woman! Don't come any closer!" (あいつだ！あの女だ！来ないでくれ！aitsu da! ano onna da! konai de kure!.)
Etymology[]
- The name Michihiko means "path, road" (道) (michi) and "boy, prince" (彦) (hiko).
- Michihiko's surname Ikushima means "life, living" (生) (iku) and "island" (島) (shima).
Trivia[]
- Like Masanobu Fuchiki, Michihiko carries a long stick and usually attacks alongside the other masked guards.
- Michihiko shares the same lines during battle with fellow guard, Miyoshi Tsukigase.
