The Minakami Dam is a setting in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. It is at the end of its completion when Mio and Mayu become trapped in Minakami Village. Masumi Makimura was a surveyor at the beginning of the dam's construction before he was spirited away. Minakami Dam is shown at the end of the game with the forest surrounding Minakami Village flooded with water.
