Room 412 (氷月 Hyōgetsu, meaning “Frozen Moon”), also known as the Isolation Ward, was the only room on the fourth floor of Rogetsu Hall and former residence of Sakuya Haibara after she was relocated there due to her illness. To keep the other patients safe from Sakuya's influence from how severe her illness has become, this room was created for her, and is significantly larger than the rooms of other patients on the lower floors. An area of this room is included to house potted plants, with glass akin to a conservatory. Shie Sonosaki was the nurse responsible for Room 412.
This room features many furnishings and items of luxury, including dolls Sakuya has collected. Unlike Ayako's dolls, Sakuya's were well intact and arranged.

- The crest on the door to this room depicts a paulownia, the flower representing the month of December in hanafuda cards.
- According to Yo Haibara's tapes, the room felt like that of a prison despite how it was designed and furnished.
