The Slow Lens, known in Japanese as Chi (slow, late), is one of the first lenses that are used to boost the Camera Obscura's power. When used, the lens temporarily makes the affected ghost's movement slower (遅くする, Osokusuru, to make slow), thereby opening more opportunities for shots and increasing the duration of Shutter Chances and Fatal Frames, as well as providing some time to create distance for the player.
