Takahisa Kouzuki (上月 隆久, Kōdzuki Takahisa) is one of the ghosts found in Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. He was Souya Yomotsuki's apprentice and had his own room in the Yomotsuki House. According to the Ghost List, he was concerned about Souya's obsession with the Lunar Eclipse Mask.
The player can fight him in an optional fight in Chapter 6 in front of the doors of the Shrine of Mourning, located in the basement of the Rougetsu Hall. He makes several appearances in the Yomotsuki House in Chapter 11 and a final fight in the Final Chapter in the Meditation Cave.
Etymology[]
- The name Takahisa means "noble, prosperous" (隆) (taka) and "long time" (久) (hisa).
- Takahisa's surname Kouzuki means "above, top, up/upper, summit" (上) (kou) and "moon" (月) (tsuki/zuki).
Trivia[]
- Takahisa has an attack similar to Souya's, which consists of throwing masks at the player.
- Like the other ghosts of his class, Takahisa carries a hammer and chisel, which he uses to attack.
