- In Fatal Frame, the original owner of the tape recorder is Koji Ogata. In Fatal Frame IV, Ruka will use Kazuto Amaki's tape recorder while Choshiro will have his already in his inventory. The one that Misaki finds is presumably owned by either Tsubaki Tono or Shie Sonosaki
