Wandering Man is a hostile male spirit in Fatal Frame. He was dead prior to the Calamity. He came to Himuro Mansion by crossing over from hell when the Hell Gate opened. He wandered the mansion in search of people he could drag down into hell.

Miku Hinasaki encounters this spirit while searching for her missing brother. She is able to defeat him and continue on with her quest. Once Miku breaks the curse over the mansion, Wandering Man's spirit is finally able to rest.

Below is displayed the ghost's info according to the game's official guidebook.

Night 2[]

  • HP: 300
  • Attack power: C
  • Movement: B
  • Location: random
  • Profile: Like Floating Woman, he is a ghost who returned during the Calamity. He is a tough and impulsive ghost. There is no set place in which he appears.

Night 3[]

  • HP: 350
  • Attack power: C
  • Movement: B
  • Location: random
  • Profile: He, too, is stronger than he was during the second night. However, since he appears many times all over the place, he is a suitable target for gaining points.

Final Night[]

  • HP: 350
  • Attack power: A
  • Movement: B
  • Location: Hell Bridge
  • Profile: Appears as a set with Floating Woman. His attack power is different from before. A single touch will deplete Miku's health by half.

Wandering Man has only one mandatory battle, along with Floating Woman, during the Final Night. He is a random spirit encounter before this battle. One of the vanishing ghosts of the editor Koji Ogata also goes by the name "Wandering Man", but there is no connection.
